Schwarzenegger is more relative than Shakespeare because he has contributed more to the public than Shakespeare has. He has made changes for California through him being Governor, has made environmental changes, changes towards peoples lives and has provided support for an arrange of charities. The changes he has made for California have benefited the economical and physical lives of many of its citizens. He has helped stop air pollution by establishing the hydrogen highway and million solar roofs plan and has cut California’s greenhouse gas emissions by over thirty five percent. The economical status of California has also profited from Schwarzenegger’s decisions and efforts. They’re local export profits has risen thanks to his persistence of travelling the country and promoting Californian home-grown products. He has also done work to reform California’s fiscal policies, to create a better business environment, reduce burdens on employment, boost exports and stimulate job growth. Also, after four years since he first got into office, California’s Gross State Product had grown by twenty-nine percent. Using his background as an athlete he made restoring health and fitness a top priority by signing legislations making the states schools nutrition standards the highest in the country .

After he was appointed Chair of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, in which he travelled all over the fifty states recognising the need for after school programs, committed himself to personally funding such programs and in 2002, his support for proposition forty-nine, the After School Education and Safety Act, led it to and overwhelming victory. Above of all of this, as Governor he aggressively worked to increase after school funding, making California the first state in the nation to significantly invest in a comprehensive after school activity program. To top it all off he and his wife have committed time, energy and personal finances to charitable organisations around the world such as Special Olympics in which they have both remained closely involved with.  And of course who couldn’t forget the what entertainment he has brought to the whole through his wonderful movies. But then, you would have to say that Shakespeare has donated more of his time to amusing crowds with his wonderful plays. But then again, that was over five hundred years ago and were aimed towards a different type of audience. Unlike Schwarzenegger’s movies who were created for the modern audience.
