Do Celebrities Deserve Special Treatment

Celebrities are given special treatment, wherever they go.  Fans besiege them on the street, stores, and in their cars.  Do they deserve special treatment?

Depending upon their rate of popularity, celebrities are the target of special fan attention.  They are literally attached by photographers, reporters, and star gazers.  Stars either like or hate this sort of scrutiny. 

If they appreciate their fans, they willingly are the object of their affection.  If they feel that they are overly dodged, they are hesitant to be around all of these  people. 

Is stardom worth all of the fanfare?  Are the fans a bother rather than a compliment?

If a person enjoys a private life, then they cannot be in the spotlight of stardom.  They pay the price of fame and fortune by followers, who intrude on the basic privacy of people.

Fans can appreciate their stars by being more considerate of their privacy.  They should be given special treatment by fans, who should allow them some privacy with their families.  Hopefully, they would appreciate this tiny bit  of privacy.  Some will and others will not. 

When  children of stars are concerned, they should be off limits to the media. They deserve to live as normal a life as  possible.  This means no  cameras nor microphones thrown into the  faces of the children.

Stars are in a different genre.  Their fame can cost them their privacy.  Whether they deserve this special treatment or not is a question that only they can answer.
