Ellen Pompeo is Pregnant

It’s True! Ellen Pompeo is Pregnant. The 39 year old actress is most well known for her role as Meredith Grey in “Greys Anatomy”. The 6th series began filming yesterday, July the 15th. The writers of Greys revealed that there is no pregnancy planned for Meredith Grey, but with the star showing a visible bump, and being around 7 months pregnant her bump is surely going to show up, even under baggy scrubs.

Ellen Pompeo is married to Chris Ivery a 41 year old music producer:

 This is going to be their first child, they have been married since November 2007 and are said to be ecstatic about the baby. They first met however in 2003 at a grocery store, and they started seeing each other 6 months later.

Pompeo is not the only Grey expecting a baby, Chyler Leigh, her ‘half sister’ is expecting her 3rd child, a girl, who is due in May.

There have been lots of rumours about Pompeo’s weight that seem preposterous, and are completely untrue, according to her sister Maureen she has always loved her food, still does and her first word was peperoni!

Both Ivery and Pompeo were from Boston and secretly got married at city hall. If you compare Pompeo to a lot of actresses she is great, and is modest, saying that she doesn’t see why people should worship her when she hasn’t really done anything good, which is a great difference from when you see other actresses who always seem to think they are the best thing that ever happened not just to show biz but in the whole world.

Pompeo really seems as though she is going to be a great mom, and we can certainly agree that she will make an adorable mom. Pompeo’s own mother died aged 37 from a drug overdoes when she was just 4 years old.

Since the adorable McDreamy and Meredith marriage on Greys Anatomy we have all been hoping for a little McBaby to join us, although it has been made official that there has been no baby planned, and that Pompeo will be working lots of over time and shooting the scenes back to back, so that she can finish her episodes by the 24th of September when she will be starring in the new season on Greys. Pompeo is going to finish shooting 12 episodes before she takes time off for the baby, but the producers say they will not film any episodes with out her.

I am with all other Greys Anatomy fans when I say that we all wish her the best of luck with her pregnancy, and we think she will make a fantastic mom!
