Epitome of Icon

While so many have spent their lives obsessing over Marilyn Monroe (whom I won’t deny, I absolutely adore), I spent my time falling in love with another American Icon:

Katherine Hepburn was something different. She didn’t portray the gorgeous dumb blonde, and she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She honestly just didn’t give a damn.

Stunning, without doubt.

Her career spanned sixty years. She still holds the record for most Best Actress wins at the Academy Awards ( 4 out of 12 nominations).

`I could have accomplished three times what I’ve accomplished,” she once said. “I haven’t realised my full potential. It’s disgusting.”
