George Michael Arrested by Police

Pop Super Star George Michael has been arrested.

The 47 year old singer was arrested by police in Hampstead, London. According to reports the pop star was deemed unfit to drive.

The world famous singer was arrested on Sunday. This was when police were notified that a car had crashed into a building. The alleged crash happened on the Hampstead High Street.

Michael, famous for his early days in the 80s pop group “Wham” and then a successful solo career with such hits as “Father Figure” and “Freedom” amongst many others, was taken to a police station in north London for questioning.

He was bailed to return to the station in August upon police conducting further inquiries.

George was banned for two years in June 2007 after he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and crashing into three cars without informing the owners.
