How Keira Knightley Was Born
Keira Knightley, the goddess beauty of the UK, was born under a very special circumstance.
Keira Knightley is a multi-talented young, beautiful, sexy lady. How she was born though involved a wager between her Scottish mother and her British father. What was the wager between them?
The wager was that if the Scottish mother, Sharmon MacDonald, were to publish a successful theatre play, then she promised to bear a second child for the British father, Will Knightley.
Sharmon MacDonald back in 1982 quit stage theatre acting due to stage fright, and wanted to try being a playwright instead. Her hobby was writing creatively, and she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree back in Scotland in English Literature. In the early 1980s, the Knightley family were going through financial struggles to make ends meet: Will Knightley did not earn much income as a stage theatre play actor and they had to raise their only child, their son, Caleb Knightley. Sharmon wanted a second child desperately anyway, So, to hit two birds with one stone, Sharmon took to the pen!
What resulted was the publication of her first play, When I Was A Girl, I Learned To Scream And Shout in 1984. The play became an instant success in London, England and made Sharmon famous and affluent financially.
The reward? Sharmon won the 1985 Evening Standard Award for most promising playwright and she gave birth to Keira in late March 1985. Yes, 1985 was Sharmon’s lucky year.
