by At the moment on the market we can find many interesting series and some of them are really popular. Some of them were even filmed like for example “Harry Potter”, “Twilight” saga, “Vampire diaries” and many more. Since many years fantasy and sci- fi books are on the top of bestsellers lists.
As a big fan of vampires, werewolves and other creature’s stories I perfectly know what I like in such books and what I don’t. I’m not fan of “Twilight” saga as my imagination got description how vampire should look like and behave like. That is why this series don’t excite me like for example Anne Rice’s books (Interview with a vampire, the queen of the damned). Edward Cullum seams so polite and weak comparing to Lestat (queen of the damned), Damon Salvatore (Vampire diaries), and Conrad Wroth (Immortal after dark series). Sorry to say that by women love “bad boys”
Kresley Cole is awarded writer ( Rita Award for “ Hunger like no other”) She is also number one bestseller author according to “ New York Times” Cole through her books introduces us to Lore ( Immortal creatures world such as vampires, Valkyries, werewolves, phantoms, demons, shape shifters, sorceress, witches). Every species of Loreans got special abilities, skills and characteristic look. Valkyries and not tall, brave and very beautiful. Vampires are strong, tall and always hungry for blood. They can trace to the places where they have been before. Demons are handsome, got horns and got exceptional strength. Lore world is very complicated, full of rules and exist near human world. Every 500 years in immortals world is undertaken by Accession, war between all species. Accession was created to control growing population of immortals. All Loreans can live even Millennia but they can be killed by cutting their heads. Every book from the series tells story of two main characters chose by author. Most Loreans got only one fated partner: werewolves call them mates, vampires got Brides. Sometimes fated partners come from opposite factions of Lore and there is clash between personalities, families, friends, opinions and believes. Road to the happiness is not easy and sometimes happiness cannot be achieve. Those differences happened between characters of first book of the series titled “Playing easy to get”. This is a story about Myst the Valkyrie and Nikolai Wroth, The vampire. As all Valkyries hate vampires, Myst realises that she got no future with Nikolai. Unfortunately her partner is very stubborn person. The main characters of second book “ Hunger like no other” stack in the same situation, which makes book more interesting and griping from first page to the last sentence.
