Is Hannah Montana the New Britney Spears?
by How the press would like to find something to bash Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus.
The other day I watched a South park Episode online and saw the Britney Spears one. I was slightly shocked. Where are the boundaries? I like Britney. She’s going through some rough times, just like millions of other people in this world. I’m sure it doesn’t help when you’re constantly in the press reading more terrible stuff about you. While it was somewhat funny it was sad at the same time.
The end of the story was somewhat predictable and clever. Who would be next? Well, let’s see? Who’s the most popular new teen star?
Bingo, Hannah Montana! (Or Miley Cyrus).
I went to Seven Eleven to get vitamin water when I saw Hannah Montana cookies and microphone gummy bears. Wow, is she beating KISS or what?
Being a musician myself I have a ton of marketing and merchandise ideas, never thought about those. Disney is working real hard on milking her name for all it’s worth. I’m sure she’s one foot out the door, ready to move on. She’s growing up plus she’s got plenty of money.
I understand it was such a “big deal” the photo shoot with Vanity Fair? C’mon now. Who really cares? It was harmless. In my opinion, it was beautiful.
I don’t like the way the media works; trying so hard on making someone look bad? Why is selling bad news so profitable? Drama sells. As long as it’s not about us right? Besides being a musician I’m a vocal coach; I teach a lot of kids in a talent school, it’s amazing, pretty much every kid loves Hannah Montana. I used to not but now I do too.
I got to know her music a little bit better. Her songs are very uplifting and inspiring, what a great way to teach your kids about having a positive, go-getter attitude. You can’t really compare Britney and Miley, other than in terms of popularity.
Britney was build to be sexy and seductive, and still, all the kids loved her anyway 
Miley is positive, clean as far as drugs and drama and shows girl power. And the media keeps digging for dirt. Is that the mentality of most human beings?
Always looking for what’s wrong?
I’m sure they’ll find something on her somewhere even if it’s borrowed from someone else.
Let’s stalk her and see if she’ll shave her head too.

i think that miley will be the new britney because she is going to partys and getting drunk and that is how britney stared i would like 2 see her improve but she wont i used 2 like her

I really honestly wish the media would leave these stars alone. What they do is their job. What they do off camera and beyond the microphone is their business. It’s not their place to dash the image of the one pop star I would let my little sister watch and love. Miley has a good head on her shoulders and she’s not the hoe bag brittney was when I was a kid.
Think about this:
My generation had boy bands, Christina, Brittney, Destiny’s Child, etc. My generation likes to get pregnant young, do drugs, and watch too much TV.
What will Miley, The Jonas brothers, and the Disney channel do for the next generation? For my sister’s generation? Hopefully they will instill morals and goals and maybe some sense in these kids heads.
