Joan leaves her work/business and home in New York to move to L.A so she can be with Melissa and Cooper. Joan thinks it’s just going to be the three of them but that’s not the case. Joan is renting out your house for five years to stay closer to Melissa but until she finds a house in L.A she’s staying with her daughter.

Joan doesn’t know Melissa and her boyfriend Jason have been together about two years. The secret is Joan doesn’t know that he’s moved in with her. Also has a friend that lives with her until he gets on his feet. Cooper Melissa’s son has a nanny.

Packing: Joan not only has her ashes of her husband but others of her friends and someone(unknown friend). She’s packing them up bringing them to Melissa’s house.

Arriving: Unpacking: Joan goes to hang her coat in Melissa’s closet and finds that there’s no room because space is being taken up by men clothes.

Joan wants to get some plastic surgery well in L.A and wants to get her arms fix but she went to three doctors and all three told her she was good and had did not need to fix anything. She said she wants it done and will find a doctor who will tell her yes.

Trip to the Beach: Joan drove and her driving is wild. At the beach the nanny ask Joan if she could rub sun block on her back for her and the nanny takes her top off. Wow.

Joan buys Cooper a surf board and told him to keep it a secret from his mom. While eating dinner Cooper says he can’t tell his mom about the trip at the beach because it was a secret. Melissa says you know we don’t keep secrets. Perfect time for Joan to get her answer. Joan wanted to know why Melissa had been keeping it a secret about Jason moving in with her. The truth is told and all is good but now Joan is like how long are you going to live in sin, get married.
