Kanye:_ The Jerk From The West
Kanye West, a well-known rapper and producer raised controversy on Sunday night September 14, 2009 when he stole the mic from Taylor Swift as she was accepting her award for “Best Female Video”.
…………….
Translate what you will out of the dots above. That’s the silence that rang out when I saw Kanye West jump on stage and basically ruin a milestone moment for Taylor Swift. If the world could be more disrespectful…..well anyway back to the point. He had no right…NO RIGHT whatsoever to jump on stage and point to Beyonce and say that her music video for “Single Ladies” was the best music video ever. Opinions like that should stay in your head, not be voiced on LIVE NATIONAL TELEVISION!!!There’s a little phrase “Think before you speak” that he should be notified of. Now if HE was getting an award wouldn’t he want to finish his bloody speech?I think so too. I felt so sorry for Taylor though. Her face had shock written all over it and she was just standing there like,”What am I supposed to do now?Should I take the mic back from him or what?”. Luckily karma came and bit him on the bottom and he was removed from the show. Thank God ’cause if he interrupted anything else……..well I’ll just leave that up to your imaginations. And God bless Beyonce for having the RESPECT and DECENCY to call Taylor back on stage to let her have her moment. That was a proud moment right there. I wanted to give Beyonce a ”Woman of the Year” award for that. I don’t know if Kanye felt any regret from that, his apologies on his blog, in an interview and to Taylor seemed sincere but when I look back on how he said that rude comment, it makes me have second thoughts but hey that’s just me. Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone interrupted HIS speech next time he wins an award. In fact I would do a touchdown dance if someone did. He needs a taste of his own freakin’ medicine. That was rude, uncouth and very immature to do.
