Keri Hilson, a famous R’n'B and Pop singer released her another video “Pretty Girl Rock”. It serves as the second single from her upcoming second studio album, No Boys Allowed. It was released digitally in the United States on October 12, 2010. The video itself for “Pretty Girl Rock” was directed by Joseph Khan. The video premiered on November 11, 2010, on Youtube channel VEVO.
The first seconds of video are brought to us with words “Do the pretty girl rock”, which looks just like Yolanda-Be-Cool feat. Dcup – We No Speak Americano. The second thing, that is conspicuous is first scene from video, where Keri Hilson dances in a costume like Beyonce’s video “Single Ladies”, as same as the moves are. Only thing that’s unique is her furry vest.
Next is the scene from the garden, where it reminds us of Rihanna’s video “Only Girl (In The World), where she covers her in flowers and smiles a lot. This may be a very strange note, but that’s how I see this video.
Another long scene, around 1:00 – 1:50 is so much Beyonce. First of all – her make up. It’s just a copy of her. Secondly, filming quality is the same as Beyonce’s video ” Why don’t you love me”.
What is next, is the most shocking. I mean she tries to be a Diva? No WAY! 1:50 – 2:15 is the moment.
Two incomparable persons are Ciara and Keri, but why the hell is Keri trying to be so much Rap, and Army. I understand why Ciara is such, since her father was in the United States Army, throughout her childhood Ciara grew up on army bases in Germany, New York, Utah, California, Arizona, and Nevada.
In conclusion, this song is really great, but all the moves and scenes are pure copied.

everything is not about beyonce and keri hilson is not imitating Beyonce she is just too paying tribute to those who came before them…Stop comparing Keri Hilson to Beyonce, Ciara, and Rihanna…she is her own person and she is hott!!!

this is 100% correct.
there is no copying/imitating of beyonce, ciara, rihanna etc. this video is a video made to pay homage to the women who paved the way for black female artists.

The reason everyone thinks she is copying beyonce, and this video is too ”Beyonce-like” is because most of Beyonces material was taken from black female icons of the past, like Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, etc./
Stop hating on keri for making this amazing video to memoralize the ladies who created this genre of music. She is not copying Beyonce or anyone else, if anything Beyonce copied everything about Diana Ross. Fact.
