Kwame Kilpatrick, He’s at It Again

Some of you may or may not know this, but Kwame Kilpatrick is an extremely popular media story at the moment. The story goes like this,
Kwame Kilpatrick was seen as a good candidate for the city of Detroit. Considering the fact that Detroit is already a mess, most people think that having
a mayor couldn’t possibly cause Detroit any more problems. Oh how wrong you were… Instead of fixing Detroits problems, or even helping them at the least,
someone like Kwame Kilpatrick had actually to given Detroit worse problems! His acts had included things like theft and perjury. Now, in that last sentance you saw
the words “theft” and maybe you thought who cares if he stole 10 dollars, or 20 dollars, or 50 dollars? Well, that’s just it, he didn’t steal meager amounts of money, he
had managed to steal over 300,000 dollars! And on top of that, not only was he thrown in jail for 99 days, he lied to the court! Still, even to this very moment, people
are trying to accuse him of many more crimes and will most likely succeed!

 Although I have never acually had a problem with Kwame Kilpatrick, you can’t just go around taking money (duh). People are now shocked and amazed
that Detroit could stoop so low as to do something like this. Others, however, are simply fine with the fact that someone from Detroit would do this, heck some people even
expected this to happen! Not only does this give Detroit an even worse name that it already has, people fear to actually move there. What was once a great city, slowly deteriorated
into a pile of dust, while people just stood there and watched. And even when someone could have helped (like Kwame Kilpatrick), they don’t. They just sit there watching and expecting
all of their problems to simply disappear. People could have started to build up the city into a paradise for amaze and wonderment, but people walk past graffitii and trash without the slightest
clue why the world is slowly being burnt up. And i’m also pretty sure that people had needed a mayor in their final attempt to redeem Detroit for what it once truly was, but instead we get a
man that is blessed with the opportunity to help our community and instead, he steals a grand amount of cash and practically dooms Detroit from ever recovering its awful demise.
