Who is this mysterious woman that showed up to shock and awe? Here’s a glimpse into the not-so-distant past of the woman we know as Lady Gaga.
First, let’s start with Lady Gaga’s real name – Stefani Germanotta. Yes, a real human female name. There go any ideas you may have had that Lady Gaga landed here in an alien pod, or that she’s really a man.
Also, Lady Gaga is not a real blonde. That’s not so weird – a lot of girls go blonde. But how many women turn platinum because of Amy Winehouse? Turns out the Gaga was starting to get mistaken for the British brunette early in her career. Lady Gaga is way too original to be confused with anyone, but you mention a fabulous female singer with an unusual voice, big brown hair, and crazy clothes… and yeah, you might first think of Winehouse.
