Lady Gaga to Tour with No Doubt

Just hours on the heels of the announced cancellation of Lady Gaga’s tour with the newly Pariahed Kanye West,  An alternate touring plan has apparently been announced.  It has been reported that The Glam rock queen will be joining one of her major influences on the road, hooking up with Gwen Steffani and her reunited band ‘No Doubt’.  The tour will apparently open in late November with a 30 date U.S. Tour, After which a series of dates will be set throughout Central and South America. 

 Lady Gaga, who has taken the world by storm since her debut album The Fame came out in August of 2008 (20 million Digital singles and 3 million album sales).  leaped to ‘the fame with two of the fastest selling singles of the modern era, ‘Just Dance’ and Poker Face.  Known for her outlandish stage shows, this is a highly anticipated event.

 No Doubt singer Gwen Steffani was one of the pioneers of the 1990’s ‘Women’s Movement’ started with the alternative and grunge female fronters who began to step from behind the microphone and become extravagant celebrities, continuing the trend brought to the limelight by Madonna.  After a hugely successful solo career and time taken to raise a family with husband Gavin Rossdale (Frontman for 90’s Alt band Bush), Steffani has returned to the pop music world with the original No Doubt lineup.
