Lady Gaga Tried to Steal a Photo of Whoopi Goldberg

Lady Gaga has admitted that she once tried to steal a photo of her idol Whoopi Goldberg from a hotel — but unfortunately she was caught in action!

Gaga is a long-time fan of Whoopi, and noticed that a hotel she was staying at had photos of the singer/actress all over the lobby.

But her plan to take one of the photos as a souvenir quickly came unraveled.

Appearing on The View on Monday Gaga told co-host Whoopi, “I’m a huge, huge, huge Whoopi fan and there’s this one hotel that I stay at where there’s photos of you everywhere throughout the lobby. So I went out with my friends one night and we’d had a little bit to drink, and we… saw this photo of you and I said, ‘Oh, I love her so much, I just want to take her up to my room’. I thought it would be funny to steal the Whoopi (photo) in the back entrance.

“So we got upstairs, me and my girlfriends were laughing our heads off and I swear, five minutes later I heard (knocking on the door). It was the hotel security and they go, ‘We’re gonna need to have Whoopi back’. I’m like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about’ as I’m kicking it to the side!”
