Let’s “Remember the Time” When Michael Jackson “Healed the World”

In my opinion, Michael Jackson was not just an artist… HE IS ART personified. It was not just about the music and his dancing… for him that was simply an extension of himself, it was always about his vision, about the bottomless streams of emotions. His dancing and musical expression only added the finishing touches to the echoes of the heart, which later had the divine cord to touch us all.

It was his energy, the life he gave to the simple lyrics and beats, which we grew to love so much. MJ made the song come alive with emotions and drive -no matter how old a person might be, yet once MJ delivers the song, they too become alive and invigorated into jumping up and joining in. It was his energy that made him an iconic legend, he was a pure and unspoiled youthful energy, conserved, maintained and kept within the mind of a child to glow and shine for as long as it did. The way he gave and shared everything that he was with everyone that he was able to bless within his vicinity, for he was a child within the halls of his own mind and in my opinion that is how he lived.

As for the allegations against him, whether true or not, my own mind keeps coming back to me and saying, “But if these allegations were true, then it would mean that these tendencies must have been present for a while, and if they had, then surely quite a few enemies would, way before then, have gotten wind of such information -if for nothing else then to stop the unprecedented growth of power one black man was accumulating around the globe at light speed -so my mind concludes, then MJ would have been discovered a long, long time before he was able to reach global fame; for such secrets cannot be kept hidden for long… but he wasn’t!” my mind stops here for a moment for the information to sink in, “however, and very interestingly, what would be the one thing that would destroy the creditability of one of the most loved and cherished musical icons of his time. The one who preaches love, peace and unity, heal the world, heal our children -suddenly was alleged to be a child molester! What would happen to his immense power and popularity, which before these allegations, MJ was able to shake and shape the entire globe with only one of his songs and the messages they may carry within them -one must therefore also consider that these allegations came out to bring him down when he was at his very peak of power and still growing non stop. One must consider all scenarios”

My integrity as an artist would never allow me to discredit the gifts of a master that had blessed us with so much joy and beauty, because of allegations none of us know if they were really true or not! Let us just remember him for all the beautiful things that he did leave behind….
