Lisa Rinna
Lisa Rinna, the 46 year old actress and Mother recently posed for playboy for the May 2009 cover and previously posed in the September issue when she was six months pregnant.
Ah Playboy, the infamous magazine where women bare it all and men stumble over themselves to get one of the magazines from the shelves. I used to think that Playboy was nothing more than a sleazy magazine exploiting women to makes sales. Yet when I heard Lisa Rinna posed for it TWICE I changed my judgement. Whose to say that pregnancy isn’t sexy?Sure women may feel like total shit during pregnancy and have major mood swings. I couldn’t help but actually cheer for Lisa when I heard the news. Why should busty blondes, curvy women and all other types of beautiful females be the one ones to grace the covers of Playboy?Forget the sales, if women want to pose for it to empower women to show their sexy side I say go for it. The world needs to embrace all aspects of beauty whether the woman is pregnant or not. Last time I checked people can still be beautiful even if they are in their late 40’s. I think Playboy needs to expand their range of models. Would it be a bit much to have a woman who doesn’t have the body of Carmen Electra and the face of Angelina Jolie to represent a type of beauty that sometimes isn’t universal? Not everyone can be stunning but to have a regular woman who may have had plastic surgery to go on the cover of playboy, I felt like that was saying,”Look I’m not perfect, I may not be the most beautiful woman in the world but this is me. This is what I have and I’m not afraid to show it.”Power to Lisa on that one.

I don’t see why any woman shouldn’t pose in the nude if that’s what she wants. And certainly beauty doesn’t end – or begin – at, what?, eighteen? After all, Joan Collins posed nude for “Playboy” when she was fifty.
But beauty is one thing, “sexiness” is another.
And personally, I don’t think a pregnant body is “sexy”, nor is it supposed to be. (Although I am sure many men would disagree with me.) I feel there *is* something slightly unseemly about a pregnant woman exposing herself in the nude; and I know many people feel that way, but many have become Po-Co hypocrites and don’t want to admit it.
I am not arguing with you, though; or with anyone.
It’s an interesting topic.
