Michael Beasley’s Twitter Meltdown
Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley has reportedly checked into a rehab clinic after apparently suffering a private breakdown in public on Twitter on Aug.24.
Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley, according to a report from Yahoo Sports, has checked into a rehab clinic at the urging of the NBA team.

“Y do I feel like the whole world is against me…I can’t win for losin.”
“Feelin like it’s not worth livin!!!!!!! I’m done.”

Beasley also posted a photo (left) on the Twitter account that sparked much debate afterwards, and it is speculated that his meltdown followed controversy over the photo. Beasley was apparently intending to display the tattoos on his back, but once the picture was posted, speculation was abundant that one of the plastic bags in the photo’s background contained marijuana.
The Twitter account linked to Beasley’s name was reportedly taken down on the Saturday after having been posted.
The speculation is buttressed by an incident that occurred at the NBA’s rookie transition rookie camp in 2008. Police responded to a fire alarm that went off in the room of rookies Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur. Although there were reports of the strong burning smell in the room of marijuana, none was actually found. Chalmers and Arthur were excused from the camp and Beasley, who was also present, was later fined $50,000 by the NBA for his involvement.
There was also controversy during the 2009 season, when Beasley and Chalmers were reportedly repeatedly fined for their conduct.
Beasley had been a star collegiate player at Kansas State who left college after one year to enter the NBA.

Y… who gives a crap! He is just another piece of garbage that the sports industry has used, in a effort to make a buck from the poor slobs who are looking to the outside for someone to idolize and worship. Instead of people looking inside, to see what they can do to make this world a better place to be…, we justify and play into this nonsense, and say they these losers should be role models in the community… specifically in the poor minority communities. But you know what… it is too late anyway… our society too far gone…
