Childhood

Michael Jackson was born in 1958. He was the seventh child in his family. Michael Jackson started his music career when he was only 6 years old. He performed in a music show with his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marol. Soon, five Jackson brothers formed a music group called the “Jackson’s 5”. There was no doubt that Michael Jackson was the most talented. Michael Jackson showed this music talent in his early life.

 First Album

Michael Jackson released his first solo album “Got to Be There” in 1972. He was no longer a part of “Jackson’s 5”. Michael Jackson got great critics for his first album. The same year Michael Jackson released his second album “Ben”. After this, no one could stop him. He released three more albums. Then the time came for his most successful album.

Thriller

Michael Jackson released his “Thriller” album back in 1982. This Michael Jackson’s music album soon became the world’s no. 1 album of all times. Only in the United States Michael Jackson sold over 21,000,000 copies of this album. In the rest of the world “Thriller” album was sold in 27,000,000 copies. This makes it the best seller music album of all times.

Earnings

It is estimated that Michael Jackson earned somewhere around $ 750,000,000! Believe it or not! Back in 2007 there were some rumors that Michael Jackson was totally broke. Financial experts estimated that he had no money left. Even so, many claimed that he must pay enormous sums of money to the bank. This rumor was never confirmed.

Michael Jackson’s Life: Awards

Michael Jackson won 22 American Music Awards, 40 Billboard Awards, 7 BRIT Awards, 1 Golden Globe Award, 19 Grammy Awards, 13 Guinness World Records, 13 MTV Awards, 14 NAACP Image Awards, 56 RIAA Awards, and 12 World Music Awards! Total of 197 major awards! This makes him the most successful musician of all times!

Sexual Harassment

Back in 1993 Michael Jackson was accused of child sexual abuse. The investigation was closed because of lack of evidence and Michael Jackson was not charged. The same year he canceled his world tour because of his problems with drugs. Back in 2005 Jackson was accused again of child sexual abuse. He went to court, but was found to be not guilty. If he went to prison, he would spent next 20 years behind bars. 

Marriage

Michael Jackson married Lisa Presley in 1994. She is the daughter of Elvis Presley. They divorced in 1996. The same year he married Debbie Rowe. She had two children with her. They divorced in 1999.

Children

Michael Jackson wanted to save the right on private life for his children. He never showed up in public with them. But Michael Jackson on one occasion leaned his child through a hotel window. The world was horrified by this Michael Jackson’s act. Many saw this as an irresponsible act of an immature man.

Scandal

In TV show “Life with Michael Jackson”, the musician confessed that he sleeps in a same bed with several other teenage boys!

Death

Michael Jackson died on June 25th, 2009, at 2.26 pm.
