Michael Jackson: Finally Rested
The super star was finally buried last week in the presence of his family and friends. Many stars were there to bid him final goodbye…
Last week, after his sudden death on June 25th, the burial of the super pop star finally took place in the presence of his family members and about two hundred of his close friends. With this, let us hope that all the controversies regarding the star will also come to a rest.
There may be many different opinions about the life and the music of Michael Jackson, and many more controversies regarding the manner of his death but one thing is certain that he in his short life span of fifty years achieved a level of success very few people can reach at. The millions of fan following he had all around the globe, and billions of dollars of an empire that he raised will always be a source of envy, strife and example for many young singers and musicians, close friends and fans all around the world.
This also raises the question about the vanity of human achievement and deceitfulness of the material riches. What does it profit a man even if you own the entire world but can not control your own destiny? Does it matter if your coffin is made of gold or wood? Does it matter if you are taken to the grave in a limousine or on the shoulders of the few loved ones? Once you are dead you are dead! And you can not make use of the billions of dollars that you have earned and have invested in so many great investment plans! They will be used by others probably by those you never dreamt about?
But it is better to die as a king then as a beggar. What is the role of human character and goodness in a human life in arriving at the final destination? Here the question of after life also comes into focus. Is this the end of a fine and a talented human being? Can there be any way to preserve the body of a person and bring it back to life, when science will reach to that level of capability? What conclusions the Egyptians had reached in their quest for preserving the bodies and waiting for the hope of some way of rising again from the dead?

Very interesting article and no, it doesn’t matter if we go to our grave in an expensive coffin or a wooden box. I don’t believe there will ever be a way to revieve a corpse, but that’s just my opinion.
