Michael Jackson: The 80’s Were Good

I remember back in 1986. I had my Thriller button on my denim jacket. At home we played dress up with a white glove on one had. My friends and I thought he was so cool. He was the coolest guy ever. He wasn’t a heart throb. It was his music. Beat it spoke to me. I was a rebelious kid. I was 10 years old and everything was Michael Jackson. Then I got older and started to have kids. The media circle around him was not so good. I still liked his music, but i no longer was the fan that I used to be. It is sad. He was on top of the world. I still will listen to his music and have a smile on my face. His music brings many good memories back to me.  That is the legacy that he will leave behind.
