Michael Jackson was admittedly the biggest artist to ever walk the face of this planet, his passing has brought widespread speculation and worldwide media interest. As in life, in death Michael Jackson was center stage.
Jackson’s musical career began at the tender age of 5 in Gary Indiana, when his mother spotted his natural talent. The world was introduced to Michael Jackson when him and his brothers were signed to Berry Gordy’s label Motown. A star was born, a legend had surfaced and Michael’s life would never be the same again. Some say the music killed Michael, the fame, the fortune, Hollywood. Others say the lack of true friends and advisors led him to an early grave. Whatever the case may be the star that brought us Thriller, the legendary Billie Jean, that “white glove” is gone and the world will never be the same again.
On 25th June 2009 the music industry changed forever, the King of Pop Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26pm California time and the world looked on in despair, fans and media flocked to the UCLA hospital where Michael Jackson was rumoured to have been taken. He suffered a cardiac arrest at his rented LA mansion and the doctors could not revive him. TMZ.COM were the first media outlet to report the news and the rest of the worlds media followed suit.
Jackson left behind 3 children, Prince, 13, Paris, 11 and Blanket 7, the news was confirmed by his older brother Jermaine who tearfully spoke that “legendary King of Pop” was dead.
It seems Michael Jackson is worth more now that he is dead than when he was alive, his sales went through the roof and it is estimated his estate will continue to make $120 million a year. His 50 date residency at the famous 02 Arena was not to be and fans will never get to see their idol perform again, but the legend continues because he will never be forgotten, but the question still remains was he murdered?

Yes Michael was murdered, butI have to differ with the questions asked in the article on what killed Michael Jackson. It most definitely was NOT music that killed him. Music was Michael’s life, his message to the world. He was killed by many, but music was not part of it. Except in the context that others in the music industry had it out for him, Imo. However, also Imo, the major player is Michael Jackson’s death was the media in this country. They slung a thousand poisoned arrows straight to his heart, and then watched him die, a little at a time, until finally at the hands of another “untrue friend “came the fatal blow. This is my opinion, I cannot prove any of it, but I know what I saw the media do. Michael Jackson was one of the best representatives of humanity and decency this country and the world has ever known. And we are all far worse off without him.
