Cover of Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus

According to news sources,  a tour bus that belongs to the teen pop star Miley Cyrus had overturned. The bus was traveling on Interstate 85 when it ran off the road, struck an embankment and was overturned. It is believed that the accident occurred about 8:00 A.M. about 40 miles south of Richmond in Dinwiddie County. Sgt. Thomas Molnar said that neither the weather nor the bus speed were factors to be considered.

Miley Cyrus is the daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus, who also appears on the family friendly Disney sitcom “Hannah Montana.” Police are saying the 16 year old teen pop star wasn’t on board the overturned bus.

The passenger that died was a male whose identity isn’t being released to the public at the time. The other passengers were exited from the bus through the front windshield.
