Imagine that you wake up one morning to an astonishing piece of news: you won $11 million in lottery!!!

I know… I know…   You’d be jumping like crazy over any hurdle you’d see, losing your cool sanity for a while to the madness of—what else—maddening  joy!

So, now, the question: what would you do with the amount?:-)

Easy, that!!! Ear to ear you smile, sweating in an otherwise cool morning.

You wipe the beads of perspiration off your forehead with the back of your hand. Images of things suddenly parade in the screen of your mind…

You can build a community library!

You can get married—if you’re eligible!

You can get your own house and lot, with enough garage space for two or three cars and a big bike!

You can send all of your promising relatives to school!

Or you can start your own business!

Or you can build your own school!

What about recent millionaires, such as Allen and Violet Large, who– as Liz Goodwin writes  in http://yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101104   on Nov. 4, 2010–won Canadian $11.3 million just a few months back?!!!

Ever wondered how they spent their money? Here!

Retaining only 2 percent of the amount ”for a rainy day,”  they gave the rest of it all away to the “local fire department, churches, cemeteries, the Red Cross, the Salvation Army, hospitals in Truro and Halifax”–where Violet, diagnosed with cancer, had her chemotherapy treatment—and to “organizations that fight cancer, Alzheimer’s and diabetes.”

“The list goes on and on,” adds Liz Goodwin.

“People who know them just know that’s the type of people they are—they’re just happy to have each other,” Liz Goodwin quotes Lori Hingley as saying.

I could almost hear Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s lines from “How do I Love Thee?,” after I finished reading Liz Goodwin’s write-up on Mr. and Mrs. Large…

“I love thee to the level of everyday’s / Most quiet need, by sun or candlelight…”

yes, money is an important tool in people\’s life…. it brings joy for the convenience and comfort that people acquired, somehow it does not guarantee of a kind happiness which can only be brought by the people who cares for us…a kind of happiness in which you can say to yourself, \’am not forsaken, god loves me\’…
