One of My Favourite Quotes About Life and Why It is My Favourite – Quote Number Four – Helen Keller
Some people have favourite quotes that they believe are true about life, this is one of mine and the reason why.

When something good ends, sometimes we cannot see the new chapter that is ready for us, and we spend so much time regretting the end, or missing the past that we fail to take opportunity of the new advantages available to us.
Sometimes its just the memories of the past holding us back, sometimes its the constant comparison “It wasn’t like this last year” and sometimes its not until we get to the end of one journey that we realise that we actually have had a very good time.
Sometimes the door has closed in a very bad way, and at the time we cannot see how on earth this will lead to happiness, for example losing your job. If you have been made unemployed it can make you so miserable, your regular money has gone, you have to cut back on things that you enjoy doing, and the bills keep coming in, how on earth can this lead to happiness? Its not until you are a few months into your new job that you think to yourself “Maybe losing that job wasn’t so bad after all”.
I believe this quote should encourage us to always try to be positive, even when things seem really bad, even when you really cannot see light at the end of the tunnel, try to keep positive. Just because something has changed, it doesn’t mean that the change is a bad thing, change can be a positive event in your life, whether you wanted it to happen or not.
