Overpaid Rappers

Is it me or are rappers getting totally pointless like artists like Ke$ha? Take the perfect example of Soulja Boy. This guy sells albums and makes money by rhyming every line with “oh”. So does this mean that if I walk into a recording studio, ad lib a rap rhyming every line with “oh”, dress up all gangster, will I become famous overnight. I doubt it. So why are people spending money on stupid rappers like Soulja Boy who randomly literally ad lib their entire song? They don’t deserve the money. Musicians have to work hard to get paid for their good music. Crap like Crank Dat is not music. It’s stupid. That said, you can’t judge rappers either. I heard people disliking Usher and Ludacris because they were featured on the guy who sings higher than Alvin and The Chipmunks (Justin Beiber). You can’t dismiss people of their music because of their connections. Most people stopped listening to Kanye after he dissed Taylor. True, he deserved some punishment but you can’t dismiss his music because of that. Did the music diss Taylor. Obviously not. So you have to decide whether the rapper is worth listening to. You can’t dismiss them but you shouldn’t like all of them either.
