Days after narrowly missing what could have been a devastating home invasion, Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits were arrested yesterday night in Las Vegas.
Hilton, famous for being famous, was arrested for possession of cocaine. The package fell out of her handbag when she pulled out lip balm, police Sgt. John Sheahan inferred.
Waits, Las Vegas night club manager, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The couple was initially pulled over based on the smell of marijuana and possible marijuana smoke coming from Waits car.
The heiress was arrested earlier this year on drug possession allegations, but they were dropped by authorities in South Africa. She plead no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving in 2007, for which she was sentenced to 45 days in jail.
