Parties, Tiara’s and Tantrums

The life and times of being a celebrity.

Celebrities – are they a new breed of human race or are they just self indulged ego’s inflated for their own purpose? Do we want to be them? Hell yes. Do we? Really? Would you recognise a celebrity walking along the street? Hell no. If we only knew what the cost of being a celebrity really was and just how fake they are in real time. Fake? Or just normal? Normal is what? What normal to you may not be normal to me. Would we like to have the feeling of living in a fish bowl with every move you make being monitored, photographed or just being watched, even inside your own four walls? A life? I think not. Though for celebrities this is what they wanted. To be seen – to be seen. Parties, Tiara’s and Tantrums. It all fits. Its the way its mean’t to be. But for who? Is visiting the shrink, the way its mean’t to be, is marriage break ups – the way its mean’t to be, absolutely forgotten identities, is this the way its mean’t to be. Self destruction at the highest level. And is that classed as being a celebrity? Yes – they’ve made it? To a place they would far rather be. Maybe being anonymous isn’t so bad after all. Maybe working hard for a living, being able to go about my life is me being the celebrity I always wanted to be.
