Rihanna finally speaks out about Chris brown. On her interview rihanna explained that like her own childhood her ex-boyfriend’s was also filled with pain and abuse. During the interview Rihanna explained that she kept telling herself that wouldn’t date anyone like her father. Rihanna told people about her early days with Chris brown as filled with happiness and the two were best friends but falling n love with your best friend almost never turns out good. She said that on the night Chris assaulted her they both were happy and didn’t drink that night. Rihanna saw a text on his phone from a girl that he had previously had a relationship with and she asked what it was about, Chris wouldn’t tell her anything about it and rihanna didn’t let it go. As they were driving home from the pre-Grammy award party they found themselves arguing and that argument eventually led into Chris being violent and biting and punching rihanna repeatedly. She even said that she was choked but not to the point that she lost consciousness, but she did say that she had trouble breathing. She said he threatened to kill her but rihanna just says it was to scare her. She says her screams finally prompted a phone call to the police. The two met up again in Miami about a month later She said “everything about him annoyed me.” He asked her if she hated him. Rihanna said no even though she resented him. This was the point where she says she had to end the relationship.

When asked about the picture that leaked over the Internet after the incident and weather it affected her she said she doesn’t like seeing the image because of all the bad memories it brings back about that night.  At the end of the interview she wished Chris brown luck.

After the interview Chris brown released a statement that said he wished rihanna luck and was sorry for what he did and he takes complete responsibility for his actions. He also released a new song called changed man which in the song he apologizes to rihanna for what he did. (even though rihanna claims she’s never heard it before.)
