Roman Polanski’s Top Ten Reasons Why He Should be Given Clemency

So apparently the president of France has passed along a letter from Roman Polanski to President Barack Obama. The letter reportedly asks Obama to grant Polanski clemency for his 1977 rape of a thirteen year old girl. Hopefully President Obama will think twice about granting clemency to a fugitive of Justice and admitted rapist. More than likely he will just ignore the note and not make an public comment. Wouldn’t want to offend Debra Winger, Wes Anderson or nay other of Polanski’s Hollywood apologists. Not having any idea what Polanski has included in the letter, I can only presume it includes excuses as to why the charges should be dropped. Of course I know when you presume you make a pre out of me and you. The pre in Polanski’s case is short for predator. Here is what I think are his top ten excuses why the charges should be dropped.
