Seven Amazingly Dumb/Funny/Unlucky People

by Mr O in People, April 6, 2008

You’re having a bad day and think that your life can’t be worse than it is. Well, at least you’re not one of the following seven people.

  1. If you are thinking about braking the world record you might think about what can happened if you don’t succeed. Los Angeles, 1992, Frank Perkins made an attempt on the world flagpole-sitting record. At that time it was 400 day record. Suffering from the flu he came down eight hours short. Bad things happened after – his sponsor had gone bust, his girlfriend had left him and his phone and electricity had been cut off. Lucky guy, isn’t he?
  2. Very famous TV star in Argentina invited a group of archaeologists to her show. They had recently found some dinosaur fossils. When they told her that, she asks amazed: oh, I can’t believe it!!! Were the dinosaurs alive???
  3. I don’t know if this fact is true but it is hilarious. Khay Rahnajet, Iraqi terrorist, didn’t pay enough postage on a letter bomb. It came back. “Return to sender” stamped on it. Forgetting it was the bomb; he opened it!
  4. Johannesburg, South Africa. A man shot his 49-year-old friend in the face while the two practiced shooting beer cans off each other’s head. Lucky guy didn’t die, he was seriously injured.
  5. Some men get nervous and scared when their lady is pregnant. But sometimes too it is much more than you think. A man spoke frantically into the phone: “My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart!” Doctor’s respond: “Is this her first child?” “No, you idiot!” the man shouted. “This is her husband!”
  6. What if you can guess lottery numbers 11 times in a row? You would probably get rich, but this poor guy is in trouble! A monk in Thailand is in big trouble with local authorities and betting shops after successfully predicting the winning lottery numbers, hmm 11 times in a row.
  7. Radnor, Pennsylvania. Police officers interrogated a suspect by placing a metal colander on his head and connecting it with wires to a photocopy machine.

The message “He’s lying” was placed in the copier, each time they thought the suspect wasn’t telling the truth, they pressed copy button. Believing the “lie detector” was working, the suspect confessed.
