Shoko-Tan

Shoko Nakagawa mostly called Shoko-tan by most people is a japanese actress, voice actor, singer, illustrator, and professional cosplayer (A cosplayer is a person that dresses-up as a anime/cartoon character) Shoko-tan herself is a 5 way threat with as many talents she has. Shoko-tan’s cosplaying is so good she’s been on count-less talk shows and has been interviewed alot Shoko-tan gets paid as well for her cosplaying abilities exceed normal cosplaying abilities. Shoko-tan often goes to auctions, cloth stores, and many second-hand stores to find good cloths for the character she is cosplaying. Shoko-tan’s most note-able cosplay is as the famous  Pretty soilder in a sailor suit Sailor Moon Here is a picture below she also cosplays as other sailor soilders as seen below.

As you can see Shoko-tan’s Sailor moon cosplay is almost completely spot on. Shoko even gets Sailor moon’s movements correct such as Sailor moon’s pose, walking, attacks, and eating which is extremely important when cosplaying. She also gets her character’s phrases correct when cosplaying which adds more to the experience that the character is real.

Shoko has also cosplayed Doremi from Ojamajo Doremi, Vegeta from Dragon Ball, and many Final Fantasy characters here are a few more pictures of Shoko-tan’s cosplays.

Shoko-tan also has a love for cats she once brought home a abandoned cat she found while filming. She recently took in 3 new cat from a owner who was sick. Shoko-tan currently has 7 cats. They are Chibita a spotted male cat also called Nekomura because he resembles Neco Nekomura from Kyo no Nekomaru-san. Mami a female tortoiseshell named after Magical Angel Creamy Mami sometimes called Mamitasu or mmts. Luna a black male cat named after Luna from the Sailor Moon series. Raijiro a spotted male named after Yujiro Hanma from the show Baki the Grappler. The 3 new cats are Kung Fu Panda, Jojo, and Milk Bun. Her cats also cosplay with her sometimes such as Luna and Mami cosplaying as Luna from Sailor Moon. She has shown a particular shine to Mami who appears in her blog frequintily Mami appears in magazines and tv sometimes. Below is a picture of Shoko cosplaying with 1 of her cats.
