Special Editorial: The Eight Month Since The Death of Spc. Benjamin G. Moore

Miss Lindsie reflects on her fellow high school graduate, who died early this year from a bombing attack.

West Windsor/Bordentown- It has been 8 months since his death, and everyone who knows Spc. Benjamin G. Moore is honor him still to this day. On that cold winter Janurary evening, my mother, who just got home from work, told me about him. Although I forgot what he looks like, since he graduated with me, five years ago. So, I told my mother that I didn’t (Forgive me about this). So, I tune into the local news and they spoke of Ben and I felt like an idiot. Not only that he graduated with me in Bordentown Regional High School, but he was my friend on MySpace! I felt so sad on what happen and it is very hard on what happened. The funeral serivice were held in downtown Bordentown in a church, next to Beneficial Bank. Everyone went to pay their respects to his parents, Amy and Pat Moore.

In light of this, the local news media ends up running it. From WPVI to Mercer County Community College newspaper, The College Voice ends up showing about it and tells everyone in the Delaware valley and respect the family. It seems that they share what they know and what has been disscuss. But, on the day of his funeral, A bunch of IDIOTS called the Westboro Baptist Church, from Kansas, which it’s far from here, tried to disturbed the funeral, if it’s wasn’t for a few friends of ours who had to prevent it ever to happen. Westboro should have no rights to be part of this contry to do something real stupid is to crash a funeral for a falling hero, especially it’s for a fellow high school graduate!

This weekend, while it’s my brother’s birthday on Saturday, I will be remembering Ben, because Sunday, would be his 24th birthday.

I wish I would knew Ben, much more, but I blame this on terrioist, who took the chance away.

Here is an image I leave you of him:

Please leave a comment, if you want to, but I give you a warning for those who agree with on terriosim, Westboro Baptist Church, and other bad things. You will be exile from Triond and hopefully be banned for good, if a member, if not, I wish bad things to you. You don’t understand of a lost, especially a high school graduate.

Rest in Peace Ben.

Great tribute Lindsie and I totally agree with your message. In fact, I stand firmly behind you. I have had a few friends that have past since graduation also, but none at the cause of terrorist. I hate them. If I saw them or knew of a plan, I would honestly kill them. I give credit where credit is due and Ben and other troops deserve all our blessings. They put their lifes on the line, fight for the country they love, just so we all can be free. Ben, RIP and thank you Lindsie for your wonderful tribute.

Your welcome. I only could remember seeing him a few times or more during my year at Bordentown, finish my senior year, because of spending five years in a horrible special school. I was glad that my mother had me to move back to Bordentown. I am just had the chance to know as much about him before his death. I curse out the terrorist who had him killed. I was surprised that Hope Hose Human Co. #1, the fire department, dedicated one of their trucks in his memory.
