Strictly Come Dancing Celebrity Cast List 2010
by Known as “Dancing with the Stars” throughout the world, the original (and we like to think best) celebrity dancing series returns for another run, this coming weekend in the UK.
The BBC’s flagship Saturday evening entertainment offering for the autumn months has, tonight at midnight, announced its list of stars (or some might say victims) for the coming series. With its usual array of sports stars, TV celebrities and singers to name but a few, there will be many familiar faces vying for the crown, currently held by BBC Breakfast sports correspondent Chris Hollins.
The celebrity contestants are:
Ann Widdecombe (ex Conservative MP)
Paul Daniels (TV Magician)
Patsy Kensit (TV actress – Holby City)
Felicity Kendall (TV actress – The Good Life)
Gavin Henson (Welsh Rugby International)
Pamela Stephenson (TV comedian and Psychologist, wife of Billy Connolly)
Peter Shilton (ex England goalkeeper)
Tina O’Brien (ex Coronation Street actress)
DJ Goldie (Musician and DJ)
Michelle Williams (Destiny Child singer)
Jimi Mistry (East is East star and ex Eastenders)
Kara Tointon (ex Eastenders actress)
Matt Baker (Gymnast, Countryfile and ex Blue Peter Presenter)
Scott Maslen (Eastenders and ex The Bill actor)
Can any of them dance? How many have two left (or for that matter right) feet? The series kicks off this Saturday 11th September on BBC1 with an hour long launch show introduced as ever by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly and then we should have some idea.
