Susan B. Anthony

Someone that I think was one of the most important people in helping improve woman’s rights was Susan B. Anthony. She published a journal called “The Revolutionary.” It helped tell people why woman she be equal with men. She gave inspiring speeches all around the world to encourage woman’s rights. Stanton and Anthony started the “National Women’s Suffrage Association.” She has over 10′000 woman who joined her association. She organized events to advertise women’s rights. She voted illegally once and she got arrested. She showed all women around the world that they had the power to change something. When she died in March 13, 1906 5 months and 5 days later the 19th amendment was ratified allowing woman to vote. Therefore accomplishing what her goal in life was. This is why I think Susan B. Anthony is one of the most important figures in history.
