The Bethenny Getting Married Finale and More on Bravo

Sadly, the finale of Bethenny’s show was anti-climactic.

I have enjoyed Bethenny and her husband Jason a lot this past couple of months and was a bit disappointed at how dull the finale was.

The baby shower scenes were ridiculous and I’ve never seen or attended a shower like the one thrown for Bethenny. Perhaps that’s because most of us can’t afford SPA treatments for our guests.

The road trip to Montauk was bordering on stupid since I can’t[t believe that two parents, albeit new, inexperienced ones are as ignorant as Bethenny and Jason appeared to be. I have to think that this was a show set-up and that even previously unwed, childless couples have some idea of how to care for a baby once it is born. Besides, Bethenny has an experienced baby nurse and she would have informed them of what to bring (like a place for the baby to sleep!!). Again, not all of us can afford a full time baby nurse so I have no sympathy for Bethenny.

Also, the constant tears really are ruining my image of Bethenny who previously was a strong, independent woman who conquered the world single handedly. She has become a babbling brook of tears and it’s getting annoying. Get with the program Bethenny.; you have a wonderful husband an adorable baby and a successful career so stop your whining.

Ramona’s appearance was awkward and she seemed to have run out of Ramonaisms. Maybe being out of her element and on someones else;s show was too much for the usually outspoken Ramona because she had little to say and looked extremely uncomfortable.

On to more of Bravo’s programming for the summer…I love Top Chef and watch it no matter when it’s on. I sometimes find myself gagging at the ingredients used in the challenges but I love the premise of the show.

Rachel Zoe is back with her usual anorexic, intense self panicking over everything and everyone. She’s such a train wreck that I can’t stop watching. To me, working for Rachel would be like winning a one-way ticket to hell while wearing a pretty dress and extremely high heels.

I can’t stand “Life On The D-List” so I never watch that garbage but I love Jeff Lewis and am looking forward to his show resuming. The guy is absolutely hysterical (literally and figuratively).

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey will soon come to an end (thank God) and it isn’t a moment to soon to say goodbye to Teresa and her classless friends and family. If I never have to listen to her Fran Drescher voice or see her bratty kids again it will be too soon.

I guess that The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be debuting soon and I hear that Kim will be bringing her lesbian girlfriend along for the ride. Nee nee is supposedly having an affair with someone other than her husband so the show should be pretty juicy this time around.

Last but not least is the new show about the next great artist which is produced by Sarah Jessica Parker. I have yet to see one single so-called piece of art that I would want anywhere near my home and I am wondering what is actually considered artistic these days. Andy Warhol was someone it took me a long time to get used too but this group will never win me over where their art is concerned because I see none. Sarah must have some weird decor in her home if she considers these people artists and wants to promote them.

Onward to the trip to Italy for the New Jerseyites and the lost footage of Bethenny crying a lot.
