The Fuss Over Oprah’s Hair: Beweave It or Not

No, “I am not wearing a weave!” The answer Oprah gave on Twitter on Friday April the 24th, was correct.  On that particular show she was “NOT” wearing a weave. Be it known, Oprah has thick hair and it is shoulder length. But on the other hand, yes she wears half wigs sometimes leaving some of her hair out in the front when she’s wearing the curly look.  And if you look closely, it is easily detected because it is parted down the center but you cannot see her scalp. God gave all of us a scalp, and whenever a person parts their hair, the scalp will be revealed, no matter how thick your hair is right? Okay, so whenever you see someone with a style and you question whether it’s a weave or not, look for the real scalp/part and if you don’t see it, it’s something other than their own hair. Now, the closet thing to a real head of hair, is a lace front wig.  It has a natural looking part that looks like a scalp and is extremely expensive and is mostly always seen on Beyonce’ and Tyra Banks. So, for the curious at heart, sometimes Oprah does wears half wigs. Beweave it or not!!!!!!!!
