The Golden Girls Blanche Devereaux Passed Away

If you remember the Golden girls you remember the sexy Blanche who would get attention from the young and the restless.  With her flashy outfits and her one of a kind comebacks who could even forget this sweet lady.  Actress Rue Mcclanahan passed away today at the young age of 76 from a stroke.  There is allot for us to learn from her once crazy flirtatious behavior as a grandmother.  Many women nowadays let go once they start seeing wrinkles not blanch.  Blanche was a beauty queen and a type of grandmother you would see nowadays flaunting her stuff.  She would be the cover girl image for grandmothers across the nation.  Her confidence as a beautiful women can teach allot of young women even now a thing or two.  Blanch had a way of mixing beauty and age and making it attractive.    One positive thing women even now can learn from blanch is she didn’t have to get breast implants and fake hair to feel good about herself. If watched the shows there wasn’t allot of this walking with your head down feeling sorry for yourself going on.  Blanch knew she was beautiful from head to toe and nobody had to tell becuase she knew it. 

Not only was her confidence a huge part of her image her intelligence was as well.  Many men wish they could have a beautiful and intelligent women that feels good about themselves even as a grandmother.  Blanche definately was not your typical grandmother and we will remember her for that.  As many of us get older do we walk around with our head held up or do we frown.  As the wrinkles come do we start to let go.  Do we still get out and enjoy life or do we savor the moments we use to have instead of making new moments.  As we remember Blanche let us take away the good things she taught us and put them to use today.
