Today’s Stars
How to get famous in the 21st century.
Is there anyone else who can’t listen to the radio or MTV anymore? Every time you turn on your television you hear them again; Pixie Lott, Lilly Allen, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga. All of them are unique, meant to be special. But honestly, are they not all pretty much the same when you think about it.
OK, while Katy Perry sings about kissing a girl and Lady Gaga gets publicity by pretending to have a penis and dressing up totally weird, Pixie Lott is way too young to be called a star. Lilly Allen is bearable, as her songs are rather individual, but who wants to hear them 5 times a day?
What’s happened to us? To legends like The Beatles and The Who, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix? Where’s the quality music Brigitte Bardot, Bob Dylan, The Doors and AC/DC used to publish? That was the kind of music that moved the world. The mentality of a whole generation was formed by them.

So please do something against this new-modern habit to call pretty much everyone a star who holds a micro in the hand and stands on a stage, ‘’singing” and being ”unusual”. If everyone can be like this, it’s nothing outstanding anymore and not worth a second listening or watching.
Keep it real and be careful, don’t get too easily influenced by all these commercial persons. It’s more about the money than about music, more about fame than love to the chore. Of course everyone wants to have a secure future and enough money to ensure a good life for his or her children, but it can’t be that it’s all just about material things.
