Top Nine Aussies in The Entertainment World: Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue and More
A tribute list of nine very successful Australians including actors, actresses, singers and directors.
Oh, the numbers are just for counting.
- Hugh Jackman

Is it just me or was he born to play Wolverine?
So who doesn’t like Hugh Jackman? He can act, do accents, play the romantic lead and the villain, he can play the lead on Broadway shows and host the Oscars better than anyone. He’s played in some pretty cool and entertaining movies. And yes, he is my favorite Australian. I even have the post to prove it.

Hugh Jackman: My favorite Australian ever
- Nicole Kidman

She is gorgeous, talented, elegant and…. I did mention gorgeous, right? She is one of the richest women in both Australia and the movie world in general. Sure, she has some bad movies but what actor doesn’t? If there is an actress deserving all the millions she is making, it has to be Kidman.
Billy Bathgate with Dustin Hoffman and Nicole Kidman
- Michael Huthcence

Born inSydney, in 1960 and died in Sydney in 1997. If you are not into music, you may not have heard of him, as he was the lead singer of INXS, a rock band that made it big in the 80s and 90s. Michael made a perfect frontman: He had a terrific voice, the looks and the attitude. Well, we can say that he just took the whole sex, drugs and rocknroll trio too seriously. Still some of my favorite songs ever are INXS classics such as Need you tonight and Devil Inside. R.I.P, Michael. Come to think of it, I was a fan of INXS long before I heard about Kidman or Jackman. Oh, and Michael also dated fellow Australian Kylie Minogue.
- Eric Bana

Eric is certainly in demand. While his effort as a Hulk ended badly and the comedy/drama

I never knew Hugh Jackman was from Australia. Nicole Kidman is a very awesome actress and I think she’s highly under rated. I really like “Eyes Wide Shut” by Stanley Kubrick. Wild movie and still confounding to me. And of course, Heath Ledger. What a great actor he was. Great list you’ve compiled here. Thumbs up article, Zoey.
