Tori and Candy Spelling: Family Feud on Fire
Describes the latest Tori and Candy feud bit a long with why it is really hypocritical and tiring.
Tori and Candy Spelling have been at it for what seems like decades now. The latest installment of this family feud is from Candy who has posted a letter to Tori through TMZ accusing her of using her children as “props” for Tori’s reality show Home Sweet Hollywood.
Tori is upset for her mother not meeting her kids, her mothers upset for Tori trying to have the event televised. I’d say 1-1 for each side however I feel that whether it’s dramatics or just stubbornness this one is on each party. If Tori would really like her mother to be in her children’s lives then maybe she could bend the televised part and just take her kids to her moms so they could meet and if Candy really wanted to meet her grand-kids, she too could swallow pride and meet them televised or not.
The letter from beginning to end is pretty interesting and hurtful to say the least. It begins by inferring that Tori is “middle aged” which as any woman knows is a pretty low blow. It is really interesting because just a few lines later she says that “what you say is on the record. People have feelings”. Wow really? Coming from someone who is basically calling her daughter unfit. And then she goes on to saying that Tori uses her children as props. This may very well be, I don’t know Tori so she may be a stage mother. And yadayada Candy defends herself for not going to her granddaughters birthday by saying that their first meeting should take place on home video-not cable. Which is very true but the irony of all this is that she is making herself appear to highly value privacy especially when it involves family and yet again she has publicly attacked, I mean “reached out” to her daughter. She is claiming that Tori is this way for publicity, but maybe it runs in the family because this letter altogether posted through TMZ is the furthest thing from a personal heartfelt cry to a daughter from a mother. Perhaps it is just an attempt in pulling up sales for her book, Stories from Candy-land-not to mention that she works for TMZ and maybe was dried up on articles for the week. However isn’t that a relatively good comparison to what she is accusing her daughter of-using her offspring to make a buck?
