Victims of Paparazzi – a Chase for a Single Photo

Nightmares of most Hollywood stars.

Almost all Hollywood stars, celebrities, top models and any popular figures of this world is suffered by paparazzi at least once in their life time. Here are few victims of paparazzi.

German Statesman Otto Von Bismarck

He is one of the first persons known to be the victim of paparazzi. He belongs to 19th century. He was popularly known as “Iron Chancellor”. In his case, photographer Wilhelm Wilcke and his assistant Max Christian Priester broke open the windows to take the pictures of Bismarck, who laid dead in his bed, at a country estate which is near to the northern port of Hamburg and this happened some 100 years before.

The photographer and his assistant shifted Bismarck’s corpse, removed his bandages to make his face look more clear and visible in the photograph. Before this photograph, world only have seen only the nurtured image of this well dignified elder statesman of Prussian heritage.

Bismarck’s corpse photo was sold for nearly 30K marks, which would be equivalent to $2 millions of today’s worth.

Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana and her boy friend Dodi Fayed along with their driver Henri Paul met death, when group of photographers, paparazzi chased them to shoot photos of Diana along with her boy friend.

Though later the judicial pronounced that the death of Diana and Dodi was due to the reckless driving of Henri, who lost control.

    Terrible,uncontrollable and simply mad paparazzi.But as long as one remain an eminent person and as long as the media coverage is there paparazzi will always be there.One cannot escape.
