Wedding Kate-william Lose Interest of Diana’s Funeral
Nearly 23 million U.S. television viewers watching live coverage of marriage between Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday (29/04/2011), whereas in the U.S. wedding ceremony took place before dawn.

Based on Nielsen ratings data released on Saturday (30/04/2011), the marriage was for U.S. TV viewers are less interesting than the funeral of Princess Diana in 1997.
Nielsen said that 22.7 million Americans watched live coverage of the royal wedding in 11 U.S. television network. U.S. population of approximately 310 million people.
In comparison, 33.2 million people watched the funeral of Princess Diana in London in September 1997 via television. Diana, the mother of Prince William, was killed in a car accident at the age of 36 years.
Nielsen figures do not include millions more people who witnessed the wedding ceremony on Friday, either in a smaller television networks as well as those watching from the Internet.
E! Online reported a record 23.6 million page views on Friday. Most of the royal wedding coverage and live streaming of the ceremony.
Around the world, supposedly more than a third of global population watching the show.
