What is Being a Father Joe Jackson?

As we look at this image above we can see Joe Jackson supporting his son Michael Jackson outside the  Superior Court in California Santa Barbara. Even though Michael Jackson claimed that from a young age his was physically and emotionally abused by him,  he also admitted that his father’s strict discipline played a large part in his success.

In society today a great number of children are raised with out support and encouragement from a male role model. These children that grow up without the support from a father can tend to see them self as a failure, and can be taken advantage of. 

What makes a man a father? does having sex with a woman and making her pregnant then leaving make a man a father? Does disappearing for 10 15 or even 20 years then coming back into the child’s life make them a father?  Or is it the the fact that  they financially support the child, but have nothing to do with the child’s life make them a father?

Would you say that Joe Jackson was not a father to Michael Jackson because he may of beat him while he was growing up?

There’s more to being a father than donating sperm a child needs love and support, it is important that a child needs to feels wanted and not to feel like a mistake.

Many women are taking advantage of due to the fact that there is no male role model in the life, for example many guys feel that they can treat some women however they want due to the fact that the woman does not have a relationship with her father, which can sometimes develop into physical and mental abuse.

Even if the woman has a mother in her life it is not the same, a woman can never be a father. Many young men find them self looking for a father outside the home they try to build a relationship with an older man trying to feel the gap of a missing father which often turns out to be the beginning of a life of crime. 

Some mother like to blame the child for ruining the life and say hurtful things like i never wanted kids. I’m not saying a woman can not raise a child on her own, i am just trying to say a man is also a very important part of a child’s life from an early stage in the development which I’m sure some of you might or might not agree with depending on the situation in which i don’t condone violence.

Some of you may able to relate to this and look back at your childhood and wish that when you were at school getting picked up by your mother wishing that your father was there to pick you up from school sometimes.

Even growing up as a young man wanting to talk to your father about things you would feel to embarrassed to ask your mum about such as wet dreams or simple things like shaving. 

A common problem that women have these days is the fact that they feel they have to be the man the fact that the father left or the mother was always insulting the father as they were growing up, tends to make them feel that a man can never be trusted. So when a woman does finally go into a relationship she will always have negative thoughts at the back of her mind and not even realise.

Some woman even end up comparing themselves to the mother without even knowing and end up in the exact situation. Some women lose the self esteem so badly so desperately wanting to be loved  they except any bad behaviour as acceptable. Not knowing that the reason they act this way is because of the fact there was no supported male figure in the life to teach them right and wrong or how a man is suppose to treat a woman because they never saw the mother and father in love never knowing how to love.

Now you can break this chain by being a father now! if you feel you cant be with the mother of your child at least be there for your child let them know that you are always there by the side, to be there to catch them if they fall in any situation think time you have unprotected sex if can be a supported father.
