What or Who Killed the King of Pop?

A person view on conspiracies of who/what killed the beloved King Of Pop.

As the world waits for the results of Jackson’s toxicology report, the guessing game on who or what killed the Icon continues. The theories and conspiracies can seem too much at times in the mirage of media half-truths, blatant lies and ‘revelations’ from just about anyone who sees an opportunity to get in front of the camera or cash in. Despite the lack of the toxicology report at this moment, it’s worth looking at the circumstances and people/events around Jackson in the last few weeks/days/months prior to his untimely death.

I, like millions of others, was looking forward to seeing Jackson in action at the London arena. I had followed the preparations and news regarding Jackson as he prepares for his ‘final’ concert with eager and enthusiasm. I did notice that there were some who were convinced that Jackson’s concert wouldn’t happen. Many had told me that Jackson was too frail for what they saw as a gruelling schedule. I was neither surprised nor shocked by their view point simply because I knew them well enough to know exactly which tabloid newspaper or Internet site they were regurgitating those beliefs from. These were the people who would rather believe that Jackson wanted to be ‘white’ (whatever the heck that meant) rather than accept the fact that he had a skin condition that he couldn’t do anything about just like many others who suffer from vitiligo.

I had seen pictures and video of Jackson with his children, often living the clinic, looking pretty much the same as he has always looked; thin but not frail. Jackson, in my living memory, had never been anything near fat and his shape never stopped him from performing. In fact he trained to maintain his shape that way, as he said it was “a dancer’s shape”. Jackson was never interested in bulking up, the muscular or ‘beefed-up’ look was never for him. I had nothing to worry about from the pictures and videos of Jackson going about his business.

I was excited by the smile in his face and his sheer conviction to doing this concert. I recall Jackson’s answer to a paparazzo once (who had asked him if he could still Moonwalk), “why wouldn’t I be able to?” he had said almost irritated by the stupidity of the question. Why not indeed, I had though to myself with a smile.
