What Will Happen to Michael Jackson’s Children?
With Michael Jackson now dead many are left wondering what will be happening with his children. His will says he wants them to go to his mother, but the will is only a recommendation when it comes to children, it is ultimately up to the court system to decide.
Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50 and that has left many wondering what is going to happen with his three children. In his will he stated that he wanted his mother Katherine Jackson to take care of his children when he died. For now, this is being respected and on the 29th of June legal custody of Michael Joseph Jr., Paris Michael Katherine, and Prince Michael II was given to Katherine Jackson.
This, however, may be temporary because Jackson’s wishes may have been for the children to go to his mother, but the court is ultimately going to decide whether Katherine Jackson is fit to take care of the children. There is also another person who could be coming into the custody battle, Debbie Ross. Ross is the biological mother of the two oldest of Michael’s children, and if she decides that she wants custody of the children she has a very good argument as to why she should receive custody of the children.
