Bright Blessings: Blesses Homeless Children and Their Families

Human beings of all ages and walks of life are extraordinary and compelling.  An individual’s birthday is a natural special day of celebrating his or her own birth, life, individuality and essence.  Acknowledging and celebrating a child’s birthday means everything to their heart.  Bright Blessings is a non-profit organization  honoring and celebrating the birthdays of homeless children.  

Amy and John Cervantes established Bright Blessings in 2005 which originates in Mount Hill, North Carolina.  The genesis of Bright Blessings originated as a family service project driven by Amy and John’s passion for helping homeless children.  Amy, John and their children expressed their compassion for homeless children by volunteering at a homeless shelter and joyfully celebrating a monthly birthday party in respect to children with no homes. One of their programs called Bless-A-Birthday celebrates the birthdays of homeless children living: in shelters, housing/program facilities and also for those living at motels, campgrounds and other temporary locations. In addition to celebrating the birthdays of homeless children, Bright Blessings blesses and instills love, happiness, joy, confidence, empowerment and support to homeless children and their families.

By commemorating children everyday and on their birthday embraces them with love, kisses their self-esteem and contributes an incredible sense of self-value. Birthdays and each day is full of life’s diverse celebrations serving as realistic truth and natural reason for exceptional beautiful jubilations!
