Hope

My experience with the Homeless Count 2009 was very insightful to the needs of those that are homeless. The need goes beyond the physical aspect which is providing the clothes, food & shelter; it’s a need that deals with the mentality of the individuals, the way they view there surroundings there situation and ultimately themselves.  Hopeless is defined as being discouraged, despairing and the mindset that obstacles in that person’s life are impossible to solve.  I saw the despair, I saw the despondent, depressed, I saw hopelessness.  Solution: In lieu of just providing for the tangible needs of those that are homeless encourage, lift up and most of all offer “HOPE” to believe in there future.
