How to Set Up a Fund
Want to set up a fund? Here are some guidelines.
Let’s say you wanted to help Native Americans. per our earlier example. You can donate. But you can also contact Alltribes.com and work on integrating the buying of Native American products–arts & crafts–with contributing Native Americans. There are also many books written by Native American authors, who have a fantastic literary tradition, combined with their oral traditions. Let’s say you want to set up a scholarship fund for Native Americans. You can become an affiliate of Alltribes.com stating that a certain percentage of monies purchased via your URL goes to the Native American Scholarship Fund. You can give a percentage to a fund that is already set up and/or your company can set up the fund itself. Make sure that you have legitimate fund managers, accountants, etc. There are companies set up to manage these types of funds, so that you have the accounting to make sure that people are clear that this is a legitimate fund. There are also fund management companies that you can contact.
It appears that more and more people are beginning to understand the need for these non-donation models along with the donation models, for helping people to help themselves. Not just giving people fish, as in the old saying, but teaching them how to fish, and then buying some of their fish. Of course, for vegans, we can find another product.
How to set up Your Fund
How to Set Up Your Fund. It is simple and easy to create your fund at the Community Foundation:. Define your charitable and financial objectives. …
This website provides information for those interested in becoming “community philanthropists,” including anonymous. You should discuss your fund with those who are experts at setting up funds. Of course, you can also set up a private, discretionary fund where you yourself are the fund manager. And/or you can have a fund with trustees, etc. If your fund has very little money then of course it can be a private fund until your fund generates the necessary monies for a more public effort. And, again, you can also decide that you prefer to be anonymous, working via of a fund management company and/or an attorney.
Again, these funds should be teaching how to fish funds. Not just donations. And these funds can also provide microcredit in the manner of the Grameen Bank of Bangladesh:
Of course people in need, whether business or other, like the idea of “free money.” Of course, people like “free money.” That’s why all the free money TV shows are so popular, Deal No Deal and Show Me the Money! But there needs to be a manner of replenishing funds that involve responsibility of those receiving funds so that the funds available for people are not depleted. That is, the fund should not go bankrupt.

“Europeans, although Europeans have always been, along with their great achievement, a truly rowdy and corrupt bunch”
A) what does this have to do with philantropy?
B)”truly rowdy and corrupt”??? you don’t think of south america / africa / russia / south east asia as just maybe being marginally more corrupt places??? and maybe also just a tat more rowdy???
