Internet Solutions, The Easy Way

People and places where communicating is fun and leisurely business-like.

Today is a fair-weathered day.  People – from kids to adults share the fun and laughter in doing personal things and private matter in front of the internet.  The reason is that most business district come to enfold a bright future for internet lovers.  Although the Philippines is stricken with two (2) typhoons hasling the Northern Region of the archiepelago, the volunteers and voluminous donations are seeming visible throughout the nation.

On my way to this Triple H Internet shop, I saw a stall with a minder who is a lady dressed in Sun Cellular T-shirt.  Her large poster says, ” Free calls between Sun to Sun subscribers.  This is a very generous act by the Company who wants to help the entire nation who were affected by the typhoon to get in touch with each other.  I would assume the other rival networks have to offer a different business strategy.  Take for instance the Sunday’s news where in Net 25 Calamity Caravan which visited the stricken community have been offered a flat rate of 3.00 pesos per call on their network ( Net 25 My Access Sim card holders/users ).

The country has not much to share as good news when it comes to the poverty with flood ridden subdivisions and villages.  It is obvious now through the news and videos on the network that even the rich residents have no  where to go when nature takes its toll against what humans have in their livelihood.  The story could be told that an estimate of over 51 million in Cash donations had been in the foundation while over 13 million in Cash are registered as Pledges ( GMA KAPUSO FOUNDATION ), and over 19 million in Kind donations.

At present, it is very obvious that the internet is the best access to communicate since many volunteers around the globe had been sighted over the news helping out the most accessible community under flood ( believe this scenario ).  One noticeable ( worth mentioning ) is an American Chinese volunteer who creates map with his laptop.  When he was interviewed, he reiterated helping out by doing the updates of flood ridden communities in the whole area while they move from one location to the other ( look at http://maps.google.com and search for ” typhoon ondoy ” ).

Internet solutions gave the access to these community of volunteers worldwide.  We are privilege to be served by them.  It is rather cumbersome at first, but the joy of getting smiles despite the complaints by others – is a big relief and inspiration to the stations set out right there by the officials and volunteers, themselves.  It is also very transparent that money does not make the world go around but the love shared by people amongst each other ( whether in sickness and in health ).  Indeed, the easy way to give love and tender loving care worldwide.
